Laura Minquini

Laura Minquini is a fashion editor and wardrobe stylist based in Toronto. Born in Puebla, Mexico, she spent her early youth in Romania, taking Communist aptitude tests, which declared her a creative type. Not one to turn down good advice, Laura obtained a degree in Fashion Technologies and later found an outlet for her creative talents in Toronto, as a fashion editor overseeing shoots for most major Canadian fashion magazines.

As a stylist, she’s been influenced by the impeccably-dressed heroines of Fassbinder, Godard and Chabrol’s films and has brought a similarly confident and elegant sensibility to innumerable editorial, commercial and film projects, most notably for The Look, Toro, Lush, FQ, Blend (Netherlands), GQ (USA), Chatelaine and Strut. She’s also worked on ad campaigns for L'Oréal, Dove, Porter Airlines, Sprite, Motorola, and Nygård, and collaborated with visual artists and designers such as Shary Boyle, Bruce LaBruce, Davida Nemeroff, Mark Zibert, Dean Horn, and Jeremy Laing.

She is represented by Judy Inc. in Canada.
